    Shellshocked Sensex!

  • The assertive former Congress leader Rahul Gandhi tossed critical allegations against Prime Minister Modi seeking a Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) into country’s biggest election scam, as coined by the opposition.
  • The Gandhi Scion confidently claimed that somebody has made thousands of cores on the indications given by Prime Minister and other BJP leaders.
  • PM, HM and FM claimed that stocks will touch record high on 4th June stocks leading to millions investing and buying shares. PM remained robust when he said that stock market will break record on 4th June and on the very same day the stock market went bust, Sensex dipped underground.
  • Primarily retail investors lost money to the tune of Rs. 30 lakh and it is appalling.
  • Chronological calendar points out:
  • - 13th May - Amit Shah asks people to buy share before 4th June
    - 19th May - PM Modi made a statement that stock market will break record 4th June
    - 1st June – Last phase of polling after which media releases exit polls
    - 3rd June – Stock market surpassed all record and reached an all-time high
    - 4th June – Biggest stock market crash resulting into investors losing about Rs. 30 lakhs.

    Questions Raised?

  • Why did Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman advised 5 crore families just days before election results were to be announced
  • Why interviews were given to the same media houses owned by same business groups who are under SEBI investigation for stock manipulation.
  • Opposition leader makes headway

  • Descendent of Nehru-Gandhi family, Rahul Gandhi had walked a thousand miles. And we are not only talking about the mind evolution he undertook to take charge of his seat but his ‘Bharat Jodo Pad Yatra’ or ‘Naya Pad Yatra’ somewhere have shaken the Modi entrenchment silently.
  • Rahul Gandhi has been elected to lead the opposition in Parliament, a seat which was vacant since 2014.
  • The six-week election saw 640 million voters head to the polls across India. It also saw Congress nearly double its parliamentary numbers, its best result since Modi swept to power a decade ago
  • Editor’s Note

In 2019 Congress with the most embarrassing loss in Amethi in 2019 and in 2024, Rahul Gandhi won both the seats he contested, Rae Barelli in Uttar Pradesh and Wayanad in Kerala. Whether cuddling a child in the Delhi metro or making dosa at roadside eatery in Telangana or taking a impromptu walk in the paddy fields with villagers or sharing lunch with Delhi University students, the Gandhi scion heard their voices, and became their voices!!!
